This album was recorded live at GB’s Juke Joint with a few of our most talented friends. We selected some of our favorite songs, many inspired by our own partnership - perhaps they were written or performed by iconic duos, or maybe they just highlight our sax & vocal collaboration. In some cases, we wrote new arrangements to freshen up old standards. In others, we hewed more closely to beloved recordings. But every song captures a special moment in time on June 10th, 2025.
Oh, and that beautiful cover image? It was photographed by Dale Michaels Wade (Emily’s mom) during one of our residencies in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
